STAFF:
Regina’s next Dr.’s appointment is 12/11/12 and we are waiting to see how that turns out before making a decision on hiring a temporary or permanent replacement.
Operations:
Casella Waste Services have been replaced by Adirondack Waste Solutions.
The Freezer was repaired by C & M Appliance for $123.51
Wood pellets have been ordered for 2013 from Agway at a savings over last year ( Irene has exact figure)
The drains were sorted out by City Rooter from Ogdensburg at a significant savings ( again Irene has figures) in contrast to RotoRooter. The problem is in an older section of pipe that was not replaced during renovation. This area has a bump in it so it doesn’t drain well. Cleaning staff have instructions for regular flushing in addition to routine measures to reduce if not eliminate future issues.
Annual Reports: I have the donor lists sorted for both 2011 and 2012 and have no problem crafting a report for 2012 but am suffering from a major writers block for the 2011 annual report. Between Red’s passing and the building project the year is a blur.
Long term residents: Camile( Cat) and Howard & Portia (dogs) have both been adopted. Freddy & Baron (dogs ) and Alfred ( cat) are still awaiting new homes.
