The Committee addressed the following:
1. Meeting time changed to 10:30AM from 2PM. Next meeting will be on June 3, 10:30AM at Lancaster’s. The Committee decided not to meet in August.
2. Business Class from SUNY Potsdam, through the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, has offered to work with area businesses on their advertising, marketing, etc. John and Lucille will attend the Chamber meeting on June 8 for more information, etc. The Comm. saw this as an important way to interact with the College and the community.
3. Website update – Rob updated the Committee on the website. It appears there has been traffic on the website.
4. PR Committee Responsibilities:
a. Media contact person – John wouldn’t mind but is wondering if Bonnie is handling this at this time.
b. Publicity via the PHS website – Anne and Rob
c. PSAs to media on a regular basis – entire committee?
d. PSAs on animal cruelty – Carrie?
e. Coordinate with other committees to have PR info sent to Lucille
