Timex came to PHS in July 2018 when his owner passed away. He is 8 (almost 9) years young and always has a lot to say! He was more of a one person dog, but has opened up during his time at the shelter, and has quickly become a volunteer favorite.

When he first came in- he had a pesky (non life-threatening) fungus. This does not cause discomfort, but is highly contagious to other animals and humans. He was one of the best patients to go through the treatment- which took six months! Once he was no longer contagious and the fungus had been eradicated- he THEN had to have some teeth surgically removed, as he had broken teeth and some infection. FINALLY Timex was ready to find his forever home, but it has taken longer than anticipated…
For an older man, he has a lot of get up and go- ready for adventure! He loves to play ball and show off. He wants all of the attention in the home, so families with other dogs and cats need not apply. Timex has more than enough love to give!
Timex can be cranky with his food, so due to his food possession and at times rough play with toys, we prefer him to NOT be in a home with small children.
