Finance Committee recommended we close Key Bank Account (Canister Fund) and open an account at Seacomm Credit Union, with overdraft protection. This would enable Anne or staff to bring Canister collection funds to Seacomm and use their change machine and then deposit directly into a checking account at Seacomm.
Paypal – we presently have a little over $300 in reoccurring donations each month through Paypal accounts online.
Status of Town Contracts for Clifton ($3,380) and Pierrepont ($7,335) was discussed, neither have paid for 2012. Anne reported that neither had signed their contracts. It appears that we will not be receiving these funds.
The Committee asked Anne about someone to be her backup in the recording of the Shelter expenses and income. She will train one of the Vet Tech’s and make them familiar with this.
Irene would like to list Fundraising Events individually in books. They would need to total $48,315, the budgeted amount for Fundraising.
