The photos below of a dog/cat have been used in our PHS logo and our Labor of Love campaign. They are in two different formats. The first photo is in JPEG format (33 KB in size), the most common format for web-based pictures, but becomes lower in quality if you attempt to increase its dimensions (width and height)
The second photo is in PNG format (535 KB in size) and is of higher quality and its dimensions (width and height) can be increased somewhat and still look good. The higher quality of PNG means it is larger in file size (537 KB vs. 33 KB for JPEG).
