Finance Committe Minutes from 10/12/10 Meeting

October 12, 2010 Fianance Committee Meeting

Members Present: Jane Amelotte, Bonnie Boyd, Irene Hargrave, Helen Hollinger, Anne Smith

Irene gave to members a copy of the Budget vs Actual Expenses to date report.  Irene felt we were doing well overall keeping to budget.   Income will probably fall short by possibly $10,000 or more by December 31, 2010.  However, expenses are also down.  Hopefully, we will have a $10,000 – $15,000 Cash Fund Balance on December 31, 2010.

Also, a proposed budget for 2011, was looked at.  Suggestions were made for changes, the changes will be made and again presented to the Finance Committe in November and then brought to the November, 2010 Board meeting for approval.  Anne will supply Irene with suggestions for 2011 wage increases before the next Finance Committe Meeting.  The Finance Committee will act on approving wage increases and work with Personnel Committee to have increases in place by January 1, 2011.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm

Respectfully submitted

Irene Hargrave
