1 President called meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2 Jane made a motion to proceed with recycling at the Shelter at a cost of $25/month; Cindy seconded; motion unanimously approved.
3 Carrie made a motion to proceed with Mark Gebo as the PHS Bond Counsel for the Capital Project; Cindy seconded; motion unanimously approved.
4 President’s Report
· Bonnie mentioned that she is working through an issue with the controlled substance fee which is reported to be $500. It was suggested that checking with other Shelters would be helpful to determine whether this is a legitimate fee that the Shelter must pay.
5 Pat Tubbs reviewed fund raising plan. Items discussed included strategy and naming opportunities. Pat will take Board input and develop final plan for 3/31/09 meeting.
6 Tracy provided an update on the 2009 fund raising events; discussed Mission Fish (more research is needed).
7 Motion to adjourn made at 8:15 p.m. by Rob and seconded by Carrie; unanimously approved.
