BOARD MEETING MINUTES 
2/21/12 

MEMBERS PRESENT: Amber, Helen, Irene, Bonnie, Linda, Tony, Lucille

DIRECTOR: Anne Smith 

DIRECTOR’S REPORT: (See website for detailed report)
Adoptions are up; 95% save rate.
Discussed having a monthy children’s event.

Micro chip/rabies clinic earned $1600.00; next one to be held on a Sunday.
County rabies clinic has been scaled back. Ours was successful.
Town of Norfolk signed on with PHS.
Booking birthday held parties at the shelter at $50.00 coiuld be a source of revenue.

TREASURERS’ REPORT:
Calendar sales broke even; board needs to approve this in the future; more lead time
needed for calendar sales.
Expenses for Dec. 2011 and Jan. 2012 need to be approved. Tony so moved and ——-
seconded. Passed.

FUND RAISING:
Paws are in place at $1.00 each; will be collected at the end of February 2012.
Rob is working on the budget overview; suggestion – compare budgets before and
after the construction project.
Donna Wright wrote a play to be performed on March 21 at the Lobster House in
Norwood.
Crusin’ for Critters will be held on June 2; 50/50 raffle money will given to PHS.
There is a possiblilty of an antiques show and sale; Lucille will investigate and
report to the board.
