Potsdam Humane Society will be hosting our 11th Annual Strut Your Mutt Virtually this year! As we strive to be a no-kill shelter, operational and medical costs are very high. Every dollar raised will help PHS care for over 1,000 animals each year through lifesaving programs.
This year you can choose how you “Strut” for the animals at Potsdam Humane Society by completing an activity of your choice! Be it walking, running, reading, dancing.. the weather is getting colder- maybe skiing is also an option? We welcome all creative ideas!
Participants can choose their activity, when and where they would like to complete it- anytime during the month of October! We encourage all animal lovers to join in on the fun!
A registration donation of $35 dollars or more will earn participants the annual T-shirt (to be picked up or mailed). The first 50 registrants will receive an additional small PHS Swag Gift! T-shirt orders will only be made twice. In order to receive a T-shirt, please register by October 1st (shirts will arrive mid October). Final orders will be placed on October 31st, so please register by October 31st to receive your tshirt.
PHS understands the financial hardships families are facing due to the pandemic, and there are many other important ways you can support and “Strut” for the animals at PHS!

- Donate Items to our Best Friends Thrift Store! Our Thrift Store, located on 8 Raymond Street in Potsdam is always in need of volunteers! To learn more about donating items, or to learn more about the store’s volunteer opportunities, please call (315) 261-0148 today!
- Host a can/bottle drive!
- Share & Like our Social Media Posts!

While we were unable to gather this year- we can all still work together to support the animals at the Potsdam Humane Society!
