The recent “Pets for Vets” golf tournament netted over $10,000 for the veterans’ program at the Potsdam Humane Society. Veterans, retired or presently serving, are given a free dog or cat with an approved adoption application. Animal companions adopted at PHS have literally been life savers for those to whom we owe our freedom!
